Femtanyl « Man Bites Dog Tour »

On 29 June 2026, The Academy in Dublin hosts femtanyl for the Man Bites Dog Tour. Born in Toronto as a solo outlet and now a duo with drummer Juno Callender, femtanyl threads digital hardcore, breakcore and industrial grit with pop-leaning hooks. On stage, Callender’s live drums give a more physical, percussive edge to the project’s splintered rhythms, tightening tracks that move between abrasive textures and sudden melodic flashes.

The set draws from the debut album Man Bites Dog, released in early 2026, and reaches back to the EPs Chaser (2023) and Reactor (2024), which also introduced a collaboration with Danny Brown. Influences skim Nine Inch Nails and Throbbing Gristle as much as The Prodigy, Drain Gang and contemporary club mutations, but the duo keeps the focus on pulse and texture rather than references.

A dense sound palette, sharp percussions and a visual universe orbiting the feline mascot Token — often shown in distorted form — frame a show that balances tension and release, where fractured breakbeats, feedback swells and concise hooks find a direct, physical momentum.
