Anneke Van Giersbergen

On 12 November 2026 at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, Anneke van Giersbergen will perform with her band. A Dutch singer and songwriter first revealed as the frontwoman of The Gathering, which she led for thirteen years, she has pursued a solo career since 2007 that blends alternative rock, folk touches and metal impulses. Her rich, expressive voice has taken her on stage and into the studio with Devin Townsend, Arjen Lucassen/Ayreon, Within Temptation, Amorphis, John Wetton and Napalm Death. She has toured in more than 45 countries and released over 25 albums, a career recognized in 2019 with the Buma ROCKS! Export Award.

With her band, Anneke is now championing La Vie, La Mort, L’Amour, a trilogy issued as three EPs, the second instalment, La Mort, having been released on 27 March 2026. The concert will mix recent material and standout tracks from her various projects, ranging from The Gathering’s legacy and progressive excursions to new compositions.
