Joe Jackson - Hope and Fury Tour 2026

Joe Jackson + Band will perform on 2 December 2026 at Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam as part of the Hope and Fury Tour 2026. The British songwriter and pianist, trained at the Royal Academy of Music, has built a career since the late 1970s that spans pop, rock, new wave and orchestral compositions. With Look Sharp! and I’m the Man he set the tone; Night and Day produced the iconic “Steppin’ Out” and marked a period in which he repeatedly reimagined his band and his songwriting: Body and Soul, Big World, Will Power, Blaze of Glory, Laughter & Lust, later Volume 4, Rain, Fast Forward, Fool and, more recently, What a Racket!.

Live, Jackson performs with his band at full strength, with a focus on melody, rhythm and piano. The tour presents material from different periods, from early songs to recent work, in arrangements that emphasize the interplay between the musicians. Expect a set that alternates between the immediacy of his pop and rock work and the more cinematic character of his orchestral excursions, with the piano at the core and a band that clearly maps out more than forty years of songs.
