Joe Jackson - Hope and Fury Tour 2026

Joe Jackson is coming to Amsterdam with his band for the Hope and Fury Tour 2026. On 1 December 2026 he will play at Koninklijk Theater Carré. Raised in the British new wave and trained at the Royal Academy of Music, Jackson has long moved effortlessly between pop, rock, new wave and orchestral detours. The setlist weaves his early period—Look Sharp!, I’m the Man and Beat Crazy—with later records such as Night and Day, Body and Soul, Big World and more recent entries like Fool and What a Racket!. Steppin’ Out serves as a familiar touchstone, but there is also room for less obvious album tracks and fresh arrangements.

The band delivers the songs with precision: measured energy, driving rhythms, piano and keyboards up front, and enough space for harmonies and brief excursions. Jackson alternates between piano and vocals, introduces songs without frills and subtly slips in influences from jazz, Latin and chamber music without letting go of the song’s core. The concert emphasizes dynamics and detail over spectacle, focusing on the songs’ dramatic arcs.
