Info

On June 24, 2026 at the Alhambra, Midland arrived with their firmly rooted Texas country. Formed in Dripping Springs, the trio of Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson deliver tight vocal harmonies, pedal steel and guitars that smell of honky-tonk. Their neo-traditional approach, shaped in Nashville, looks as much to the bars as to the road, with a mix of precision and relaxed flow that keeps the stories front and center.

On stage, Midland alternates ballads and livelier, edgier tempos, from “Drinkin’ Problem” to more recent tracks. With Barely Blue, recorded with Dave Cobb in Savannah, the band continues the trajectory opened by The Last Resort: tales of loves gone awry, inevitable departures and pride that’s battered but standing. Steel guitars, crisp backing vocals and direct songwriting shape a repertoire where melancholy doesn’t snuff things out, and where nostalgia remains on the side of motion. A set designed for the room, between echoes of dusty honky-tonks and harmonies that hold the light, carried by a trio that keeps tradition alive without freezing it.
