Catch Your Breath

Catch Your Breath will be at the Trabendo in Paris on 2 February 2027. Formed in Austin, the band cultivates a melodic metalcore that sits at the crossroads of alternative rock, post-hardcore and electronic influences. Their songwriting plays on the tension between clean vocals and rougher passages, heavy riffs and synthetic textures, with choruses designed to stick in the mind. Brought to a wider audience when the single "Dial Tone" circulated in 2021, the quartet honed its direction on the album Shame On Me (2023), which mixes anxiety, disillusionment and relationship narratives.

On stage, Catch Your Breath translates this aesthetic through a precise control of dynamics: vocals up front, compact guitars, a tight rhythm section, sharp breaks and controlled build-ups. The set draws from Shame On Me and from tracks discovered online, alternating electronic sequences, heavy breakdowns and more melodic moments, without losing the drive of a direct energy. It captures how the band links accessible modern metal to an intensity inherited from hardcore, in a streamlined format conceived for the live setting.
