Youthie Release Party + Steel Alive + Mad’J

On April 23, 2026, at La Marquise, 20 Quai Victor Augagneur, 69003 Lyon, Youthie celebrates the release of Wild Vibes. A multi-instrumentalist and producer, she shapes an organic dub where roots-reggae skanks meet colors from elsewhere. Trumpet, flute, accordion, bagpipes: she maps a sonic itinerary nourished by jazz and by Latin, Balkan, Middle Eastern, Celtic and Afrobeat rhythms. After Nomad Skank (2019), The Roots Explorers (2022), Gecko Tones (2024) and Alma de Pajaro (2025), she presents this new chapter live, between DJ mixing and instrumental performances, continuing the trajectory of her appearances at No Logo, Sunska and Dubcamp.

Steel Alive, a duo formed in 2014 between Lyon and Réunion Island, brings together Pouss (composition, accordion, keyboards) and Lucas (scratch, guitar, drumpad). Their dub foundation blends with hip-hop rhythms, world sounds and stepper, with the accordion as their signature. Between sound-system culture and nods to the circus, they have crossed paths with Panda Dub, Uzul, Luiza, Joe Pilgrim and Balaphonik Sound System.

Mad’J, a singer from Lyon, unfolds a melodic dub-stepper rooted in live mixing. On stage she alternates between singing and flow, seeking direct contact with the audience. Her project carries a clear message: to convey strength, hope and humanity, and to remind that creating connections remains a form of resistance.
