Info
Groundation returns with 'Tribute To Bob Marley', a live show conceived as a living homage to the repertoire and spirit of the King. Born in California around Harrison Stafford, the band has carved out a name with a tightly crafted roots reggae, nourished by jazz improvisations, generous brass, and long tracks that leave room for instrumental build-ups, dub breaks, and exchanges between keyboards and guitar. On stage, this Tribute does not merely string together classics: Groundation also draws on deeper tracks to remind listeners of what Marley and the Wailers changed in the roots scene of the 1970s, while injecting its own tension, harmonies, and sense of community. See you on May 20, 2027 at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne for a concert where the homage becomes a playground, between fervor and improvisation.
