On October 31, 2026, at Liberté Rennes, VEN1 brings his Nanterre-rooted rap. Born and raised in the Pablo Picasso housing estate, he carries the spirit of Hauts-de-Seine (92) and lets his Algerian roots run through his writing unfiltered. Deeply attached to his city and his people, he acts as a voice for their daily lives, recounting the lives of those around him and putting into words what his peers share—struggles, loyalties, and moments of respite. His lyrics blend melancholy and a desire to celebrate, with a down-to-earth way of expressing emotions and capturing the neighborhood’s atmosphere. Musically, he widens the frame with Marseille and Maghrebi influences—tones that expand his production and add depth to his vocal timbre. On stage, VEN1 unfolds a narrative that moves to the rhythm of his sorrows and joys, without posturing, retaining the straightforwardness of French rap.
