Info
On Saturday, April 10, 2027, Boomin Fest stops in Rennes at Le Liberté with Niro headlining. A singer-songwriter born in Rome, he has been tracing since the early 2000s a personal line between folk, rock and acoustic pop, carried by hushed guitars and restrained arrangements. For a long time, his repertoire was written in English, and it has also opened to Italian, notably since his appearance at the Sanremo Festival with 1969, a turning point that gave his songs a different color, more direct and intimate.
On stage, Niro works with balance: melancholic melodies, restrained rock tension, and this attention to detail that keeps a song anchored to a voice, a guitar motif, a refrain that returns. He also tends to move between projects and collaborations, even revisiting the repertoire of Jeff Buckley and Gary Lucas, evidence of a broad musical culture. In Rennes, this date at Le Liberté promises to be a moment centered on emotion and writing, at the heart of an upcoming rap lineup.
