Info
The Academic land in Birmingham for a night built on sharp melodies, restless guitars, and that slightly nostalgic indie rush they do so well. Catch the Irish quartet at O2 Academy Birmingham on April 22, 2027, as they bring the punchy pop-rock drive that first put them on the map with Tales From The Backseat and kept growing into the more confident, refined edge of Sitting Pretty.
Onstage, Craig Fitzgerald, Dean Gavin, and brothers Matthew and Stephen Murtagh lean into tight playing and big choruses, balancing classic British pop instincts with nervy, modern indie momentum. Expect songs that move fast, hit clean, and leave room for those crowd-sung moments that make their gigs feel like a shared release rather than a performance at a distance.
