Info
On February 1, 2027, SLIFT lands at Atabal in Biarritz with its dense and taut psychedelic rock, somewhere between space rock, garage, kraut, and stoner-tinged edges. Born on the Toulouse scene around brothers Jean and Rémi Fossat and drummer Canek Flores, the trio built itself on short, nerve-wracking tracks before stretching the format toward more cosmic narratives. From La Planète Inexplorée to UMMON, they have established a writing built on heavy riffs, pounding rhythms, and long instrumental crescendos, where the vocals become almost incantatory amid saturated textures. With ILION, released in 2024 on Sub Pop, SLIFT continues to push massive yet melodic constructions, with near-metal tension without losing their taste for psychedelic forays. Live, it delivers a continuous, immersive set, conceived as a single flow: a concert to experience rather than dissect.
