Info
On October 23, 2026, Violet Grohl brings her solo project to the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, a set built around that direct mix of alternative rock, grunge bite, and indie rock immediacy. Raised on the live stage and shaped by a very American rock lineage, she’s been seen in high-profile moments for years, but this show is about her own songs and her own voice, front and center, with guitars doing as much talking as the vocals.
After early appearances in charity contexts and guest spots alongside major 90s-era names, Violet steadily stepped into the spotlight with a sound that keeps things short, tense, and melodic. Her first solo tracks, Thum and Applefish, introduced a rough-edged mid-tempo drive with a subtle power-pop angle, and her 2026 debut album Be Sweet to Me locks in that concise, sometimes abrasive rock writing. Expect tight structures, sharp riffs, and a set that moves fast without losing its emotional grip.
