Info
Dubioza Kolektiv bring their “UK & Ireland Tour 2027” to Exeter Phoenix in Exeter on May 4, 2027, with the kind of set that treats a gig like a public meeting you can dance to. Born in 2003 in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina, the collective built its sound by smashing together Balkan flavours with ska-punk, reggae, hip-hop, rock and electronics, then turning that mix into sharp, street-level songs about the world around them.
Expect fast, packed arrangements, big choruses that hit like chants, and a band that keeps the room involved from start to finish. Over the years they’ve moved between local languages and English, keeping the focus on topics like migration, corruption, Balkan identity and the way digital life rewires habits, without losing the bounce. It’s political without turning into a lecture: rhythms first, message right there in the hooks.
