Info
On September 20, 2027, Gilbert O’Sullivan will perform at Q-Factory in Amsterdam with a show centered on sixty years of writing, performing, and tinkering with songs you instantly recognize. His pop is built around the piano: percussive, light-footed, and tightly crafted, with melodies that linger and lyrics that carry small observations, irony, and everyday details. Live you can expect the classics that first put him on the map worldwide in the early 1970s, such as Alone Again (Naturally), Clair, Get Down, and Nothing Rhymed. But O’Sullivan is no nostalgia act: over the years he continued to make records and refine his song format, without losing that distinctive signature. It will be an evening for those who love direct pop songs with humor, a sharp pen, and a voice that still knows exactly where the emotion lies.
