Born in the French alternative scene, Tagada Jones has embodied for three decades a certain idea of rock. Raw, engaged, unfiltered, Tagada Jones, in concert at the John Lennon Cultural Centre, is an energetic and vindicative vision forged at the crossroads of metal, punk and hardcore.
Today, with nearly 2,000 concerts in 43 countries to its credit, the band has moved from underground venues, cafe-concerts and SMACs to major festival stages and emblematic venues across France. Tagada Jones also counts 11 studio albums, a band built on a solid foundation exploring throughout its career different musical landscapes, while remaining faithful to its independence and to its principles such as the absence of concessions, political incorrectness and a genuine social conscience.
A balance of incisive messages, a sonic bulldozer, melodies and unifying refrains, Tagada Jones transmits the heritage of its influences to new generations. With the release of this new album 'À fleur de peau', the band delivers a corrosive and melodic, modern and engaged album, showing that time has no impact on the band's motivation, values and passion.
