Info
Hudson Freeman lands in Bristol for a live set at Strange Brew on February 25, 2027, bringing his Brooklyn-based lo-fi folk to a room that suits quiet songs and close-up storytelling. His music sits between intimate folk and hushed indie rock, with that home-recorded grain that keeps things raw without turning it into a gimmick.
Raised between suburban Dallas and Eswatini in a family of evangelical missionaries, Freeman writes from the push and pull of belief and distance, turning faith and doubt into personal scenes rather than big statements. Across releases like A Man, One Day and I AM All the Ages I’ve Ever Been, he’s built a world of fragile friendships, late-night reflection and small emotional shifts. His more recent writing keeps that same tension—belonging, anxiety, and the noise of the digital age—made for a focused, unflashy show where the details hit first.
