Info
Macy Gray brings her Trouble with the Truth Tour to Sheffield City Hall on November 4, 2026, with that instantly recognizable rasp and a way of writing songs that keeps things direct and personal without losing the groove. Since breaking through in 1999 with the triple-platinum On How Life Is, she’s moved between soul, R&B, funk, and pop with the ease of someone who knows exactly how to shape a hook and still leave space for emotion.
Expect a set that nods to the eras that built her reputation: the early records where neo-soul meets radio-ready pop, the later turns toward rock and hip-hop textures, and the more stripped-back, jazz-leaning approach she explored in recent years. And of course, there’s “I Try,” the track that turned her into a global name and still hits with the same mix of grit and warmth live.
