Info
On December 17, 2026, The Proclaimers land at Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries with that instantly recognizable mix of tight twin harmonies and folk-rock drive. Craig and Charlie Reid started out as a stripped-back acoustic duo, and that direct, sing-it-with-you approach still sits at the core of their shows, whether they lean into a lean setup or a fuller band sound.
Expect a set built on plainspoken songwriting, sharp rhythm, and vocals delivered in their unmistakable Scottish accent, moving between personal stories, social snapshots, and lyrics with a political edge. From early landmarks like Letter from America to the singalong pull of I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Sunshine on Leith, their catalogue has kept growing through later records like Angry Cyclist and Dentures Out, always balancing rootsy warmth with punk-leaning momentum.
