Editors return to Copenhagen on February 12, 2027, for a live set at Den Grå Hal that maps out their constant evolution between post-punk tension and synth-driven intensity. Built around Tom Smith’s unmistakably deep voice alongside Russell Leetch and Ed Lay, the Birmingham band first made its mark with sharp, dark guitar lines and tight rhythms on early records like The Back Room and An End Has a Start.
Over time, keyboards took more space, the lineup expanded with Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams, and the sound opened up into more atmospheric, brooding rock and pop shapes on albums such as The Weight of Your Love, In Dream and Violence. More recently, their electronic side has come forward again, especially around EBM, where pulses and industrial-leaning textures push the songs into a colder, more physical territory. On stage, that mix translates into a set that can switch from nervous riffs to heavy electronic pressure without losing its melodic core.
