Info
On December 31, 2026, Andrew Bayer lands at The Mod Club in Toronto with “A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home”, a night built around his wide-angle take on electronic music. Raised on classical piano before diving into sound design at Berklee, the Washington, D.C. producer has spent the past two decades moving between melodic trance roots and a more expansive palette where progressive house, ambient and downtempo meet.
Expect a set that plays with contrast: club-ready drive and big, emotional melodies, but also slower stretches where textures and arrangement take the lead. From the early hybrid energy of It’s Artificial to the more introspective shades of If It Were You, We’d Never Leave, and the later arcs of In My Last Life and Duality, Bayer’s music is all about structure, detail, and that Anjuna-bred sense of lift—without staying locked to one tempo or one format.
