Warhaus lands at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on April 15, 2027, with this project led by Maarten Devoldere (also of Balthazar) and his distinctive way of building tension without raising his voice. Since 2016, Warhaus has been carving out a territory between indie rock, nocturnal pop and hushed folk, propelled by a deep voice, spare arrangements and writing that favors subtext over showiness. On stage, the universe broadens: slow ballads, discreet grooves, electronic touches and cinematic atmospheres unfold with restrained elegance. Tracks from the beginnings, from We Fucked a Flame Into Being to the album Warhaus, intersect the newer hues of Ha Ha Heartbreak and Karaoke Moon, between precise melancholy and songs that advance with soft footfalls. A concert conceived as a narrative, where every detail matters and where the intimate becomes collective.
