Morrison comes with that rough-edged, soul-pop delivery that made him stand out in the mid-2000s, moving between intimate ballads, mid-tempo grooves and R&B-leaning songs, with guitar and piano always close to the centre. Savoretti brings his Anglo-Italian songwriting and a folk-pop base that’s grown over the years into richer, more rhythmic arrangements. Still anchored in acoustic guitar and story-first lyrics, his recent work leans into Rome-recorded, soulful colours and Mediterranean touches, without losing that late-night, confessional tone.
