On May 27, 2027, Odezenne sets down its bags at La Maroquinerie in Paris, with Programme C, an evening conceived as a tight traverse of their repertoire. The Bordeaux trio, between rap, chanson and spoken word, strings together tracks like a succession of short scenes, with a taste for striking imagery and lines that linger. The menu features a setlist drawn widely and that well conveys their way of mixing the intimate and the era, tenderness and the absurd: Au Baccara, Bleu Fuchsia, Tempelhof, Babylone, Delta, Taxi, Il neige, Chimpanzé, Merry-go-round, or On nait on vit on meurt. On stage, it moves forward without detour: direct energy, sometimes abrasive, sometimes fragile, carried by free writing and a presence that belongs as much to a concert as to a narrative. Programme C is the opportunity to see Odezenne in what they do most vividly: tracks that respond to one another, a rising tension, and a venue that follows.
