With Programme A, Odezenne arrives at La Maroquinerie in Paris on June 1, 2027 to present a set conceived as a sequence of tableaux, blending rap, song, and spoken word. The Bordeaux-based trio plays on contrasts: words that snap, choruses that stick, and this distinctive tone where black humor often brushes against vulnerability. We move from ‘Souffle le vent’ to ‘Maux doux’, from ‘Un corps à prendre’ to ‘Starmania’, crossing ‘Bebe’, ‘Bouche à lèvres’, ‘Vu d’ici’ or ‘Houston’. The program also features rougher, more narrative pieces, from ‘Le plus beau cul du monde’ to ‘Pouchkine’, from ‘Gadoue’ to ‘Palavas-les-Flots’, up to ‘Salope d’amour’ and ‘Roses rouges’. On stage, Odezenne maintains this direct and unrestrained edge, with writing that observes the intimate, the era, and the absurd, without seeking to smooth anything over.
