On December 4, 2026 in Conversano, at Casa delle Arti, Bilal performs live a set designed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 1st Born Second, the debut that put him at the center of the neo-soul scene of the early 2000s. On stage, that mix returns: a warm groove, an elastic voice capable of reaching falsetto, and a way of writing that moves naturally between R&B, funk, and jazzy harmonies.
Born in the Soulquarians orbit, alongside figures such as D’Angelo, J Dilla and Questlove, Bilal re-reads the album’s tracklist with the spirit of that era and the experience accumulated over the years, between collaborations and projects that have always been a bit offbeat. In between, room for the more singable moments and the freer ones, with tracks that marked his debut, from 'Soul Sista' to more cross-genre incursions like 'Home'.
