On November 15, 2026, Angélique Kidjo returns to the stage at the Casino Barrière de Lille with what has defined her signature for more than thirty years: a mobile, dynamic sound built on the polyrhythms of West Africa, an Afro-pop style open to soul, funk and Caribbean echoes, and a voice that naturally shifts from Fon and Yoruba to French and English.
This concert follows in the wake of HOPE!!, her 20th album, conceived as a collective playground. Kidjo continues to blend generations and styles, with guests such as Nile Rodgers, PJ Morton, The Cavemen, and the Soweto Gospel Choir. Recorded between Paris and Los Angeles and largely produced by Shizzi, these tracks place her voice front and center, between intimate tribute songs and tracks carrying a message of resilience and solidarity. On stage, expect a set that alternates this recent material with signature tracks from a career that has always sought bridges rather than borders.
