Born in Hamburg and based in London, Sebastian Schub cut his teeth where you have to win over a silent audience: Camden’s open mics, notably at the Spiritual Bar. A multi-instrumentalist, he advances with a stripped-down, acoustic folk-pop, carried by a deep, inhabited voice and writing that prioritizes storytelling over showmanship. His songs strike a subtle balance between roughness and elegance, with a penchant for melodies that endure and lyrics that sting where it matters.
Discovered by Sing Like Madonna, which circulated widely internationally, he subsequently followed with intimate, sold-out concerts across Europe. With kiss of life. (you’re kinda magical), brighter, Sebastian Schub explores the euphoria of early romance and the desire to be fully himself. While awaiting his first album, he returns to Paris on October 10, 2026 for a concert at Théâtre l’Archipel.
