The Haunted Youth, a Belgian project led by Joachim Liebens, lands in Paris for a concert at La Gaîté Lyrique on March 12, 2027. Between dream pop, psych, and melodic indie rock, the band works with textures: guitars drenched in reverb, fluffy keyboards, drums that push just enough, and a voice that always preserves a palpable fragility.
After Dawn of the Freak, The Haunted Youth continues to widen its universe with Boys Cry Too, released on May 8, 2026. Liebens traces a two-part narrative: first the expected reflexes of sorrow in a boy — withdrawal, anger, paranoia — then a shift toward something plainer, more vulnerable. On stage, these songs take a more direct form, without losing the misty and nocturnal edge that defines their identity: guitar-driven pop that speaks of emotions without hiding behind poses.
