Boy Harsher is the collaboration between Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller, a duo formed in 2014 that has since become a reference for those who love darkwave on the cusp of industrial and electro. Originally, their debut EP Lesser Man (featuring the track 'Pain') circulated on cassette, then spread online and immediately established their aesthetic: tight synths, dry rhythms, constant tension, and Jae's voice, at once cold and embodied. The journey sharpened with Yr Body Is Nothing (2016), Country Girl (2017), and Careful (2019), before The Runner (2022), a project conceived as a film and its soundtrack, written and produced by the duo. Their minimal synth and dark EBM have since left the basements to inhabit the larger stages, without losing their taste for chiaroscuro. Join us on November 15, 2026 at the Bataclan in Paris.
