If you're into 2000s British indie with guitar-led hooks and direct choruses, Razorlight lands in Valencia on 17 November 2026 at Moon Valencia. Born in London in 2002 around Johnny Borrell, they made a name for themselves during the height of the post-punk revival with an edgy yet melodic sound, halfway between garage rock and a distinctly English pop sensibility.
Their early years were defined by the lineup with Björn Ågren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows, and by a run of albums that defined an era: Up All Night (2004), Razorlight (2006) and Slipway Fires (2008). From there come songs that still go down a treat live, between the urgency of 'Golden Touch' and the brighter pulse of 'In the Morning,' not forgetting anthems such as 'America' or 'Somewhere Else.'
After internal changes, a hiatus in 2014 and a return to activity in 2017, the band re-emerged with Olympus Sleeping (2018). In recent years they have recaptured the chemistry of the classic four-piece and continued with Planet Nowhere (2024), maintaining that blend of energy and melody that propelled them to the forefront.
