Action! presents Saxon with its show 'Gods of Thunder' on 23 February 2027 at The Great Hall in Cardiff. A historic figure of the NWOBHM scene, the band led by Biff Byford serves up straight-to-the-point heavy metal built on tight riffs, catchy choruses, and a sense of tempo that has marked them since the late 1970s. Over the decades, Saxon has kept this blend of power and melody, spanning biker imagery, road stories, war tales, and on-stage energy without frills. This concert promises to be a retrospective of what defines their identity: razor-sharp guitars, solid rhythms, and vocals tailored for big choirs, with cult classics as well as some newer tracks. Guests are announced to complete the evening.
