Ethan Regan brings his alternative folk to Patterns, Brighton on 8 December 2026. Raised between Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-producing artist shapes a sparse, voice-forward sound that folds folk foundations into shades of rock, hip-hop and funk. Since a first single in 2019, he has sketched a steady path: the EPs Exist. and Sixty Miles on Seventy-Seven in 2020, the album parlor. in 2021, then a run of tracks in 2023 — durham, my fault, wildflowers, secrecy — that widened his audience alongside the EP we could’ve done this together. He followed in 2024 with the EP timbuktu and the single peach tree, confirming a taste for minimal arrangements that move by small details rather than big gestures. On stage, Regan keeps it close and unadorned, a format he has carried as support for Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker. For this date, he appears with special guests.
