Info

As part of Pitchfork Music Festival London, composer, pianist and vocalist Hania Rani plays an exclusive solo show on 8 November 2026 at Royal Festival Hall, London, with special guests. Known for weaving classical training with jazz sensibilities and discreet electronic textures, the Gdańsk-born musician shapes pieces around piano and voice, letting patterns evolve with a quiet precision.

Her recent path hints at a wide canvas for this concert: a symphonic debut, Non Fiction: Piano Concerto in Four Movements, recorded at Abbey Road with an expanded Manchester Collective; the longform work Shining premiered at the Barbican; and Chilling Bambino, her live project for Prophet synths heard at Atonal, Unsound and Le Guess Who. Alongside albums on Gondwana and Deutsche Grammophon, she has written for film and theatre, earning Best Composer at the European Film Awards in 2026 for Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value. This solo date gathers those threads into an intimate, focused performance.
