Thomas Fersen hits the road again with Comme on quitte un imperméable, a sung narrative that blends musical theatre, pop recital and nods to classical conventions. On 7 November 2026 at the Salle Désirée Valette in Saint-Vallier, the singer‑songwriter embraces his taste for story‑songs and marks the 30th anniversary of his album Le Bal des oiseaux.

Accompanied by three musicians, he unfolds in eight-syllable lines the itinerary of a hero who, after discouraging beginnings in music and the loss of a part‑time job as a cable installer, is sent to Mexico by his father. Fersen lends him youthful memories, conjures landscapes and encounters, and evokes the fervour and religiosity of the lands crossed.
