Elephanz

Elephanz will take over Le Rocher de Palmer in Cenon on November 26, 2026. Behind that name, brothers Jonathan and Maxime Verleysen deliver a pop-electro sound from Nantes — precise in production, direct in melody, and fond of immediate choruses. Emerging in the early 2010s, they laid the groundwork with Time for a Change, where indie momentum meets clean pop songwriting. Their self-titled album later amplified the electronic dimension, driven by tracks like “Maryland,” without letting go of the melodic thread that defines them.

On stage, Elephanz combines dry drum machines, synths with new-wave sheen, and economical guitars to create songs that balance electronic minimalism with pop warmth. The lyrics move between French and English, the rhythm remains prominent, and the vocal lines hook you straight away. The set draws from their entire trajectory, mixing nostalgic touches with modern pulses, and bears a recognizable signature: finely honed arrangements, efficient structure, and clear melodies that hold up live as well as on record.
