The Script bring The Man In The Arena Tour to The SSE Arena Belfast on 2 November 2026. Formed in Dublin in 2001, the band blends pop and soft rock with a streak of soul and R&B, built around melodic hooks and clear, direct writing. After the passing of guitarist Mark Sheehan, The Script now centres on singer Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power, with Benjamin Sargeant and Ben Weaver joining the line-up. On stage, they draw freely from their catalogue, from the early self-titled debut and Science & Faith to #3 with Hall of Fame, then No Sound Without Silence, Freedom Child and Sunsets & Full Moons, up to the 2024 album Satellites.
Also on the bill, James Morrison brings his gravelly voice and a mix of soul, pop rock and acoustic folk. Emerging with Undiscovered in 2006, he followed with Songs for You, Truths for Me, The Awakening, Higher Than Here and You’re Stronger Than You Know. His set moves between ballads and steady mid-tempos led by guitar, piano and voice.
