Info
Overmono, the duo of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, takes over L’Olympia in Paris on 14 November 2026 for a live show built around Pure Devotion, their second album. Born from the overhaul of their performances that began in 2024, this set emphasizes a more direct, physical writing style designed for the stage.
Consisting of 11 tracks, Pure Devotion pushes their method a step further: ’70s–’80s synths, an old railway announcement speaker, and even a cymbal baked in the oven. This material, treated as an instrument in its own right, feeds tracks where the voice has its place, with contributions from John Joseph Holt, their close collaborator Kindora, and Ruthven (Paul Institute). The aim is clear: to put emotion and physical gesture back at the heart of production.
Honed on stages such as West Holts at Glastonbury, Alexandra Palace and the Warehouse Project, Overmono’s live show condenses techno, breakbeat, UK garage and bass music into a precise, melodic flow. Between soundsystem pulses, wide bass and vocal fragments, the duo plays tension and release without losing the sense of groove. At L’Olympia, this minimalist energy — two synths and an effects unit — translates into a tight, focused show, calibrated for the room and built for dancing.
