Des Rocs plays The Garage, London, on 11 October 2026. The New York project of singer and guitarist Danny Rocco pushes an alternative rock writing that fuses rock’n’roll drive with blues undercurrents and melodic hard rock edges. Since late 2010s singles and the EPs Let The Vultures In (2018), Martyr Parade (2019) and This Is Our Life (2020), Des Rocs has shaped songs with direct refrains and layered vocal arrangements. The albums A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place (2021) and Dream Machine (2023) extend that approach, keeping the focus on guitar, voice and tight band dynamics. On stage, the set leans into that energy, moving between retro colours and modern production touches, with a repertoire built for clubs as much as festivals.
Special guest Finn Forster opens the night. Rooted in Teesside in the north east of England, he writes with a singer songwriter’s clarity and a British pop sensibility, between pop rock, indie and guitar-led storytelling. His tracks have picked up steady support from BBC outlets including Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio X, with sessions at Maida Vale and for Radio X. Live, he has grown through supports and festival slots such as The Great Escape, Latitude, Truck, Reeperbahn, SXSW Austin and Kendal Calling, and in 2025 joined Stereophonics on European and UK dates, alongside appearances with JADE, The K’s and Bastille.
