Ultra Vomit

Ultra Vomit will stop at Espace NoVa Velaux in Velaux on 23 April 2027. Born in Nantes at the end of the 1990s, the band has built a distinctive playground between death metal, grindcore, heavy metal and blunt humor. Live, everything is performed in French, with lyrics that subvert the conventions of extreme metal and abound in nods to pop culture. The set draws as much from M. Patate and its grindcore roots as from Objectif: Thunes, which is more melodic, and up to Panzer Surprise!, where pastiches follow one another and very short formats shake up expectations.

On stage, the vocals shift from growls to screams to clean singing, the riffs range from brisk punk to heavier anthems, and the tempo changes maintain a deliberately off-kilter feel. Accustomed to club tours and metal festivals, the Nantes-based group delivers precision and attention to detail without giving up their taste for the unexpected. In Velaux, Ultra Vomit promises a traversal of their repertoire, mixing subgenre variations, clever détournements and direct, live-focused energy.
