Info
Pink Martini arrives at the Théâtre Capitole in Quebec City on March 19, 2027, for a wide-ranging musical journey. Founded and led by Thomas Lauderdale, the group has for decades cultivated an art of blending: timeless songs from around the world, big-band elegance, pop flashes and nods to Hollywood glamour. On stage, Storm Large takes the microphone and leads the show, supported by an orchestra that delights in blurring the boundaries between genres and eras.
The set moves in several directions without losing its way: hushed ballads, rhythms that invite a sidestep, choruses recognizable from one language to another. Pink Martini performs a multilingual repertoire, letting Latin, jazz and chamber-pop influences converse, and embraces the shifts in color that have been its signature for more than thirty years. Between reimagined classics and standout numbers, the collective weaves a simple throughline: bringing audiences closer through songs that speak to the ear as much as to the body. An evening conceived as a musical cruise, carried by voices and meticulously crafted arrangements.
