Buena Vista Social Club brings the pulse of Havana to London with a lineup that keeps the project’s original spirit alive. On 6 February 2027 at Indigo at The O2, the ensemble revisits the repertoire that opened son cubano, bolero, guajira and danzón to a new generation. Born in mid‑90s Havana around Juan de Marcos González and Ry Cooder, the project gathered veteran voices and players; today, its touring incarnation extends that conversation on stage with the same acoustic clarity.

Voices in harmony, guitars and tres, piano and trumpet, and hand‑to‑hand percussion shape arrangements that move from hushed boleros to earthy, dance‑floor son. Expect the gentle sway and narrative drive of standards from the songbook—think Chan Chan, Dos Gardenias or El Cuarto de Tula—revisited with a light touch that respects the roots while letting the band breathe. Solos slip in and out, call‑and‑response lifts the room, and the rhythm section keeps a steady, unhurried swing.
