Shed Seven « Shedcember X Tour »

On 21 November 2026 at Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Shed Seven roll in with the Shedcember X Tour. Born in York in 1990, the English indie outfit carved a place between britpop, alternative rock and classic indie songwriting, built on melodic guitars, direct choruses and a front-foot stage presence. Led by singer Rick Witter with bassist Tom Gladwin and, over the years, guitarists Joe Johnson then Paul Banks, the band first broke through live before signing to Polydor and releasing Change Giver (1994), A Maximum High (1996) and Let It Ride (1998), records that defined their 90s run. After Banks’s departure and Truth Be Told (2001), the group paused in 2003, regrouping in 2007 to return to steady touring and, later, the studio with Instant Pleasures (2017). Renewed today around Witter, Gladwin, Johnson with Tim Wills and Rob Maxfield, Shed Seven keep that line moving on A Matter of Time (2024) and Liquid Gold the same year, a set of reworkings from their catalogue. On stage, the band links melodic staples and recent cuts with the same drive, drawing on three decades of songs, from early singles to fresh reworks.
