The Proclaimers bring their twin-voiced folk-rock to Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea on 10 November 2026. Formed by brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, the duo grew from acoustic beginnings into a band-ready sound that blends folk, pop, roots rock and a streak of punk energy. Tight harmonies, plain-spoken lyrics and a pronounced Scottish accent shape songs that move from quiet sway to marching chant.
On stage, they switch between stripped-back arrangements and the drive of a full group, revisiting early landmarks and recent material with the same directness. Songs like I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), Letter from America and Sunshine on Leith sit next to later chapters such as Angry Cyclist and Dentures Out. The writing threads personal stories with social detail without losing the pull of melody, and the set tends to keep things lean and singable. Decades on, their live sound stays focused on clarity, rhythm and the push of two voices in lockstep.
