Glasgow Summer Sessions brings Teddy Swims to Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on 28 June 2026. Raised near Atlanta, the singer blends soul, R&B and pop with hints of gospel, rock and country, first turning heads with striking online covers before moving into original work. His EPs Unlearning (2021), Tough Love (2022) and Sleep Is Exhausting (2022) set the tone for an intimate, melodic songwriting style, followed by his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) in 2023, carried by the single Lose Control. On stage, he plays it full band, voice up front, leaning on groove and direct connection with the crowd.
Lauren Spencer Smith joins with a pop-soul palette shaped by early live videos and a Top 20 run on American Idol in 2020. Tracks like Fingers Crossed, Flowers and Narcissist opened the door to her 2023 album Mirror, where piano-led ballads and R&B-tinged production frame lyrics about relationships, breakups and the rush of growing up. Expect a set centered on strong vocals and concise melodies.
Rounding out the bill, Jordan Rakei, New Zealand-born and London-based, moves between contemporary soul, jazz and alternative R&B. From Cloak and Wallflower to Origin, What We Call Life and The Loop, he crafts supple rhythms, warm keys and understated electronics, with collaborations spanning Disclosure to Tom Misch. Live, his band balances groove, harmony and detail.
