On 16 June 2026 at Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds, This Will Destroy You return to the UK with an instrumental set that blurs post-rock, ambient and doomgaze. Formed in Texas in the mid-2000s, the band work with slow-burn dynamics, spacious drones and dense guitar textures that rise and collapse without vocals. This tour revisits Young Mountain and Another Language: the former mapped out their blueprint of patient builds and tidal crescendos; the latter leaned into layered melodies and sharper contrasts.
On stage, clean tones open into saturated walls, tempos stretch and release, and silence becomes part of the rhythm. The pieces move from hushed passages to heavier noise with a steady sense of scale, trading hooks for texture and atmosphere.
