Gauvain Sers

Gauvain Sers returns to Besançon on 14 January 2027, on the stage of les 2 Scènes - Théâtre Ledoux, with the songs from Boulevard de l’enfance, his fourth album. After a four-year break, the singer-songwriter has gone back to what nourishes his writing: everyday life, between Paris and the Creuse where he grew up. Now a father, he casts a more intimate gaze on the world and weaves songs that connect childhood memories, social chronicles and generational questions. True to a direct idiom and unadorned melodies, he alternates portraits, confidences and observations, between tenderness and lucidity.

First noticed as an opening act for Renaud, Sers established himself with Pourvu (2017), continued with Les oubliés (2019) and Ta place dans ce monde (2021). In Besançon, he blends his new tracks with those that made him known, in a tightened, stripped-down format where the lyrics take the lead. A return to his roots, on a human scale, between Parisian cafés, the Creuse and this disruptive present.
