GIRLI

GIRLI arrives at Badaboum in Paris on October 20, 2026 to present it’s just my opinion, her third album. Behind that name, Londoner Milly Toomey blends electronic pop, indie and bursts of punk, shifting between spoken word and melodic hooks. From her earliest songs, she has addressed identity, relationships, mental health, gender and sexuality in a direct way, with a distinctly urban heritage and an openly queer culture.

Conceived and written in nine months and documented step by step for her audience, this new album displays an unapologetic transparency and reconnects her to her London roots: the nights of Camden and Shoreditch, synthetic beats and a club energy filtered through a contemporary sensibility. On stage, GIRLI mixes the new tracks with songs from her previous releases — Odd One Out, the EP Damsel in Distress, Matriarchy — in a straightforward set where spoken passages, pop hooks and nervy productions answer one another. A live show tightened to the essentials: lyrics front and center, earworm melodies and electro tension primed for the sweat of the clubs.
