Two Friends

Two Friends, the Los Angeles DJ and producer duo of Eli Sones and Matthew Halper, land at Cabana in Toronto on July 5, 2026. Classmates turned studio partners, they shifted from early hip-hop experiments to a melodic strain of electronic music that sits between dance-pop, progressive house and mashup culture. Their path runs through a wave of remixes and a 2014 boost on SiriusXM BPM with a Lana Del Rey rework, then singles like Forever and Overdose, and EPs including Out of Love and Useless.

On stage, the project revolves around their Big Bootie Mixes: long-form blends that stitch pop choruses, rap verses and electronic drops into quick sequences, alongside originals like Pacific Coast Highway or Out of Love. Recent studio work with Bryce Vine, Russell Dickerson, Loud Luxury, Bebe Rexha and Quinn XCII adds new hooks to the setlist. Years on the North American circuit — from club tours to Coachella 2023 and a Las Vegas residency — shape a fast, melodic session that flips between sing-along moments and club energy.
