Grünt Festival 5 returns to the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris on 30 and 31 October 2026. Two days to see on stage voices that carry a direct, unvarnished francophone rap. At the center of the lineup are Limsa d’Aulnay and Isha, two lyricists who depict reality from complementary angles.
Originally from Aulnay-sous-Bois and formerly part of the collective L’Uzine, Limsa d’Aulnay delivers a clean flow and precise writing. Between slices of life, contradictions and hopes, he lays down lyrics without posturing, where observation and a touch of self-deprecation hold the line. His Logique trilogy established a coherence of substance and form, with a way of fitting street life, the personal and reflection into a single track.
Isha, who comes from Brussels and was long known as Psmaker, has refocused his music around a personal, raw and clear narrative. His La Vie Augmente series traces a path in which fragility surfaces as much as tenacity. A deep voice, sharp punchlines, and dark, carefully crafted productions: a rap that speaks of survival and choices, without romanticizing or overacting.
On stage, their worlds respond to and converse with each other, combining lucidity, energy and an attention to detail. Grünt Festival 5, Grande Halle de la Villette, 30–31 October 2026.
